The local Gazette reported in an article today that Money Magazine rated Colorado Springs the top Best City to Live in the big city category.

Amazing…I didn’t even know we live in a big city.  That’s just how it feels here. In fact, when Spouse and I have to go to Denver for business I get car sick with the weaving in and out of traffic, makes me feel like a country mouse visiting the big city.  Which is what I’ve really turned out to be!

I hope you click on the link to the article.  There’s a pretty picture there that gives you a very good idea of what it’s like to live in Colorado Springs.  There’s a quiet solitude when you sit on a lonely bluff overlooking a few buildings that just gives you a hint of the hustle and bustle in the distance.  That’s exactly what it’s like here.

There’s also this photo from the previous entry which, in my opinion, shows the best view in Colorado Springs.  How can you beat that beautiful blue sky over Pike’s Peak with the red sandstone of Garden of the Gods on the foreground?  It’s there everyday for us to enjoy…we are truly blessed.

I hope you make it to the place where I live someday soon. I’m sure you’ll agree there’s no prettier place on earth.
