Cindy Sheehan Arrested at The Capitol
The anti-war activist, Cindy Sheehan, was arrested and removed from the Capitol gallery just before President Bush’s State of the Union address tonight. She was arrested for misdemeanor charges of demonstrating in the Capitol building. This was later changed to unlawful conduct.

Alito Confirmed
Samuel Alito’s nomination to the Supreme Court was just confirmed by the Senate this morning by a vote of 58-42. Just hours later, at 12:40 p.m., he was sworn in by the Chief Justice in a private ceremony at the Supreme Court Building across from the Capitol. Talk about fast. Makes you wonder if someone [...]
